Shaped by the seed that corrupts the soil, the heart of the blossom will play its part.
Brought by the winds and the waters, it injures the lungs that breathe for all.
Will it be known where it all came from?
So the fate in our acts can once be shunned.
May we see that we are, all of what we are. Made to be not all light nor dark.
May we see that we're not her death, merely a wound. A treat is known. Some heat will heal it up.
In this motion of all, our role is minimal. And all we take, we only take from us - until it's gone.
(Chorus:)
I see the hubris in me.
So our mind has taught, we're in need to claim, that our being's able to understand the way.
But we don't set the order and senescence will seize us.
So long. All even. Said and done.
No way else, 'cause given was this path. The deed forms what will be.
Silenced for good. Evanescent for good. To show we won't be those to put an end to her.
(Chorus):
I see the hubris in me.
So our mind has taught, we're in need to claim, that our being's able to understand the way.
But we don't set the order and senescence will free us.
So long. All even. Said and done.
What gave us life took care of all, we can be sure all suffering ends.
May mother soon clean it all.
And the waters will clear the shore.
And the waters will overflow.
Vanished, vanished, to cut the tares back to size.
Silenced, silenced, reminding us we must comply.
Is it the urge to rule the cell, to trick the shadow, be never still;
that made the ego and let us believe, in all that is, it's us who differ? Lo behold.
Can an act have an aim, if the aim of all is hidden?
Is it ours to vow? Is it ours to seal? Not the truth. Not forever.
What gave us life took care of all, we can be sure all suffering ends.
Smile. All weight will leave you one day.
Timed. All matter's bound to decay.
Confined. Lost in our sense of life.
Done. All might will cut us to size.

SAMSARA
08:36

I have seen this self die, 'cause it heeds the weight it holds.
Given hurt and rent ties, it needs will to further bear the imprint,
left by the caprice of a mind, that is left in limbo between awareness and denial.
I'm weighing the might that I hold, carving marks, leaving burdens you own.
It's on me, trying to sort what may be.
Opposing fate, to not pass on burdens I own.
But it moves on. It moves on.
The fragile are we, left at the mercy of all.
The fragile that's you and I, feed cycles anew.
We're set on this path, bound by our spirit at war: See what is, or aim to control.
Try to let it all go, with a mind that longs for aeons, in a body made to bow to time.
It ever falls in line.
What is in your hand?
Is it in your hand?
The first the mind conceived - did one decide, or was it always made to be?
From where we once appeared, shines a light, but we shy to keep our eyes open.
How much is one of his choice and will?
Through all run the tides, that are never still.
Ineluctable as the flow of life.
All that shapes to be, is always right.
Let me go.
Show me what I fear.
Take my will to control.
(And) purify my eyes.
See!
As the mind is trying to perceive its kind, on does the river flow, we deny.
As the sparks collide, on the cycles go, once and forever more, in spite.
So I know what I fear.
There is light in my eyes, as all falls in line.
If I sense all there is purely, I will be with a heavy heart.
All immersed in a weight baring truth of light and dark.

WITHIN
03:28
|

As the vessel comes to a halt,
(the fragile that is everything)
and it parts back to pieces.
(a flux never not in motion)
It bares the essence of its form,
(the pieces that are everything)
but we're not made to see it.
(would the image collapse our mind?)
If we must answer „why?",
(we can not bare to not know "why")
and it's more than earthly gifts we desire;
(does finitude devalue life?)
can the guide be our mind,
(perception is our only truth)
if the horizon ends beyond our eyes?
(have we seen all our mind can be?)
Vain is our vision. For us it's a means to an end.
Tamed by the body and faced by the given being within.
A willing mind may find it won't alter the rhythm.
And our elegy fades away in the aether.
And we follow...
We follow our shadow.
